Ryan started as a green deckhand and now works as a captain. First Season builds on his Deckhand Foundation teaching: the equipment, standards and questions new crew need.
The aim is to make the work more familiar before you arrive and help you make better use of instruction aboard. It will not replace experience, required training or supervision.

Can I start before joining a yacht?+
Yes. First Season is being built for aspiring and newly employed deck crew with little or no practical yacht experience. Getting In covers the separate job-search journey.
What can I use now?+
First Season is not released yet. You can use the free Getting In course, Yacht Jobs and the existing OnDeck career tools now.
Will I need equipment or access to a yacht?+
The planned demonstrations and exercises can be used before joining. Carrying out the work still requires the right equipment, onboard instruction and supervision.
What will access cost?+
The release scope, price, access period and support will be confirmed before enrolment opens. No purchase is available here.
Can I try a lesson first?+
A free sample is planned once the teaching and real media are approved. The explanation will be available without an account or email address.
