Read the deal.
Then sign it.
Upload the agreement and get the clauses it found, the gaps it did not, and calm questions you can paste back to the boat. Built for yacht crew, around the flag and operating status that actually govern the answer.
Free. No account needed. Read once and not stored. A reading aid, not legal advice.
First, tell it which yacht
Flag and operating status change the framework. If you do not know, say so — the scan will ask rather than guess.
Your document is read once to produce the review. It is not stored, added to your account or used to train anything. Nothing is kept after the result returns.
This is a reading aid, not legal advice. It finds wording and prepares questions; it cannot decide whether a clause is lawful under your flag-state law.
What gets checked
- The parties
- The crew member and the shipowner or employer are identifiable, with a usable address or identity for the employing party.
- The job and dates
- The vessel, capacity or role, start date, place/date of signing and any fixed end date, season or rotation are understandable.
- Wages and payment
- The amount or formula, currency, payment interval or normal date, method and any stated deductions can be found and read together.
- Leave and rotation
- Leave accrual or entitlement, pay status and any rotation mechanics are stated clearly enough to calculate what the crew member receives.
- Notice and termination
- Notice for both sides, probation, fixed-term expiry and any early-termination grounds are understandable.
- Repatriation
- The right to be returned home or to an agreed destination, the triggers, arrangement of travel and any cost-recovery wording are addressed.
- Illness, injury and cover
- Medical care, sickness or injury terms and any social-security or insurance references can be identified.
- Hours and rest
- Normal hours, minimum rest and record-keeping are stated clearly enough to understand the intended working pattern.
- Unusual and incorporated terms
- Governing law, complaints route, incorporated policies or CBA, training repayment, confidentiality, image use, exclusivity, document handling and unusual penalties or deductions have been read.
