Arrive useful. Then learn the vessel properly.
Too many new deckhands arrive with the mandatory tickets but very little experience with tools, lines, tenders, jet skis or watchkeeping. This course gives them a proper technical base before the vessel trains them on its own equipment and procedures.
The point
A certificate can make you compliant. It does not make you technically useful.
The important information sits in direct videos and real demonstrations. Routine jobs stay concise. Safety-critical work uses the actual vessel procedure, equipment manual and supervised practice.
