What this chapter builds

By the end of it, you can

  • Explain a go, wait or stop decision using the activity, people, conditions and actual recovery cover.
  • Check matched equipment and remove defects from the session before a guest uses it.
  • Deliver a model-specific PWC briefing and recognise when the guest is not ready for release.
  • Give a short activity-specific briefing and check the guest can act on the important instructions.
  • End a session with everyone accounted for, equipment checked and the next crew told what is actually ready.
